Physical Appearance: Clear, colorless viscous liquid. Soluble in water and alcohols.
Applications: Solvent, moisturizer, viscosity modifier, and carrier in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and various chemical formulations. It has an average molecular weight of 300 g/mol. It is slightly less viscous and more hygroscopic than PEG-400.
