Physical Appearance: Light brown to dark brown powder or granules. Has a mild, characteristic lignin/sulfite-like odor. Highly soluble in water; insoluble in most organic solvents.
Applications: It is used as dispersant for micronutrient fertilizers (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu). Used in liquid fertilizers, suspensions, and soluble concentrate (SC) formulations to improve nutrient dispersion and availability. In animal feeds, it improves pellet stregth and durability, reduces dust formation and enhances handling and storage stability. It is also used in construction, pigments & dyes, and pesticide formulations as plasticizer and dispersant.
