Physical Appearance: Clear to slightly hazy liquid (40% aqueous solution), almost odorless. Very soluble in water and alcohols.
Applications: It prevents phase separation and improves product clarity in laundry detergents, dishwahing liquids, and heavy-duty cleaners. It helps solubilize surfactants and fragrances in shampoos and liquid soaps. It is used as a solubility promoter in high-surfactant systems, emulsion polymerization systems, and agrochemical formulations.
